NA 253 Karachi-XV / NA-253 Pakistan
NA 253 is a constituency for the seat of Pakistan’s National Assembly from Karachi. Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan and it sends more representatives to the National Assembly of Pakistan than any other city of country. There are total 20 National Assembly seats of Karachi from NA 239 to NA 258. NA 253 is also known as NA-253 Karachi-XV and it is the fifteenth of total 20 constituencies of Karachi for National Assembly. National Highway N5 passes through the centre of this constituency.
In 2002 General Elections, Asad Ullah Bhutto of MMA won the seat. In 2008 General Elections, Haider Abbas Rizvi won the seat on MQM ticket. In 2013 General Elections, Muzammil Qureshi or MQM won the seat and defeated his rival PTI’s candidate with margin.
